Some helpful hints that are free. Don't get used to it.

MOBILE POINT OF SALE

Cities and states are looking everywhere for sales tax revenue and conventions and consumer shows are going to be a prime target of local tax officials. Having some kind of point-of-sale system that can set a tax rate will help show local revenue agents that you are a legitimate business and make it easy for you to comply with local laws.

At SLG Publishing we use a system called Imonggo, which is a cloud based point-of-sale system. It is easy to use, easy to get up and running and, best of all, the base system is FREE. The paid version is $30 per month per branch and with that you get the ability to upload your inventory with a csv file and to process credit cards using an Authorize.net credit card gateway. Because it is web-based it works with any computer operating system and you can use it anywhere you have an internet connection.

There i smore to the paid plan, but unless you operate a storefront or do a LOT of conventions you will probably be okay with the free version. Visit their website today.

EASY TO USE WEBSITE CONTENT MANAGER

You're going to need a website. Plain and simple, no way around it.When I had to make a site for this company I did a search and signed up for Weebly, man am I glad I did. Weebly has a free level of service and a Pro level. I use the Pro, but most people can get by with what the free version offers. While the templates are a little drab, if you have some imagination you can really make something nice.
